Brianna LaPaglia Hits Back at a Former Friend, Grace O’Malley, Calling Her ‘Evil’ in a Rare Comment About Their Break-Up
Brianna LaPaglia Talks about the Breakdown of Her Friendship with Grace O’Malley on Impaulsive
Brianna LaPaglia has revealed that there was a breakdown in her friendship with her ex-best friend and podcast co-host, Grace O’Malley. In the February 17 segment of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, the social media star fixed a misunderstanding about their relationship.
During a conversational exchange with co-host Mike Majlak, who mentioned one of LaPaglia’s recent “beefs” and specifically referred to O’Malley, LaPaglia disagreed with him. “It’s not even a beef. It’s a fake beef that came from the internet. They pulled it out of thin air,” she said.
On the contrary, when a question was put forward to her if the two of them were still friends, LaPaglia was quite clear. “No, we are not friends. We definitely will not be friends again,” she maintained. She went on to say that even if the internet “monster” the situation and made it “frustrating”, the very first dispute was not a “dramatic” fight that one can imagine it to be.

Brianna LaPaglia Says Friendship With Grace O’Malley Fell Apart Amid Zach Bryan Drama
Brianna LaPaglia gave a little more detail about her breakup with Grace O’Malley, hinting at Zach Bryan drama as the time when the two women first got at each other’s throats. Brianna and Zach separated in October 2024.
“Well, yeah. I was dating the ‘bad guy.’ She didn’t like ‘bad guy,’” LaPaglia remembered on Impaulsive about Bryan. Their split coincided with fans first noticing there might be trouble between Grace and Brianna.
LaPaglia thought the fans’ furious attack on her, who were from their PlanBri podcast, was the last straw for her. “She was going through a whole other thing, where our PlanBri fans were just like very harsh towards me,” she explained. “I kept asking Grace, ‘will you say something? Will you do something?’ And she was like, ‘No, it’s okay. It’s nothing. It doesn’t matter.’”
According to her, the hate mail was mainly about her being Zach’s girl and a pack of wolves accusing her of friend betrayal. LaPaglia hinted that she would have liked it if O’Malley publicly backed her but when she didn’t, she felt alone.
Brianna LaPaglia Accuses Grace O’Malley Of Turning Outwardly ‘Evil’ During Their Fallout
Brianna reiterated that Grace, while privately comforting her, never backed her up publicly in the face of harsh online criticism.
“No, she said it’s not important,” LaPaglia accused. “Like, behind closed doors, you know, ‘You’re my best friend.’
As per LaPaglia, fans accused her of disloyalty to her friend, while Grace in their secret conversations had allegedly said she was ‘the best friend in the world’ and that she should ignore the hate. LaPaglia thought O’Malley took advantage of the situation, saying, ‘Because she was getting lifted up and she liked that.’
LaPaglia shared she begged Grace to post a public declaration of their friendship but her pleas felt like they were being met with silence. ‘I was like, ‘This is really weird and uncomfortable. Can you just be like, ‘We’ve been best friends since we were 10?’ It’s feeling like you have ulterior motives with it.’ And then she wouldn’t say anything. So I finished the podcast before me and my ex finished anything.’
LaPaglia elaborated that the incident ‘just escalated and spiraled out of control,’ throwing an allegation at O’Malley that she publicly mentioned missing her but secretly distanced herself.
‘She like ends friendship,’ LaPaglia said. ‘She’s evil. It’s very dark and weird. And I’ve never said that out loud.’

Some even speculated that LaPaglia’s romantic involvement with Zach Bryan could have sparked a disagreement between the two.
LaPaglia went on to talk about her split with Bryan during the Nov. 7, 2024, episode of BFFs. At that time, cohost Dave Portnoy brought up the subject of LaPaglia’s friendship with O’Malley now that she was no longer in a relationship with Bryan.

O’Malley hasn’t spoken publicly about the reasons that caused their disagreement but has mentioned the termination of their PlanBri Uncut podcast co-hosting stint.

Grace O’Malley Reacted to PlanBri Revival Rumors Prior to Walking Away from Barstool
Back in early December 2024, Brianna LaPaglia shared on Instagram Stories that she was “working on bringing back some version of PlanBri guys,” after the podcast was put on hold.
Grace O’Malley replied through a comment on Dec 6 that she had no idea about LaPaglia’s plans to bring back the show.
“I don’t know if I will ever fully understand every single detail of how this happened, but I think it’s fair to say that, even though it wasn’t a decision we made together, I’m starting to see that, if you look at it from a very broad perspective, it could even be the right decision,” O’Malley shared then.
In the beginning, O’Malley was going to stay with Barstool Sports, who held the rights to PlanBri Uncut. But, roughly a week and a half later, she declared her exit from the company founded by Dave Portnoy. Not long after that, she inked a deal with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network.
