Olivia Dean Gets Emotional During Boston Performance
Olivia Dean, a young, talented singer who recently took the stage in Boston for her ongoing tour entitled “The Art of Loving Tour,” was secretly recorded singing tearfully to a Carly Rae Jepsen song a few days ago. The video of this very touching act was later posted and widely shared on TikTok. As for Liv’s manner while singing, she was in a very emotional state and cried all the time, to the extent of shedding tears all throughout. She was dressed in a breathtaking red dress that had lace accents and looked totally enchanting the whole evening. Then, she just started to sing the song that was clearly her favorite one, emotionally speaking.
Then she, without making a sound, slowly swiped her tears and then let everything out when the audience was cheering loudly for her. Olivia decided not to stop with the song, and even if the performance itself was so heavy for her, as a real artist, she just tried to remain calm and be on stage.

Olivia Dean Tries Something New and Caters Well to Those Who Listen
Dean released the track as the lead single from her fourth studio album, which was highly appreciated in the music industry last year, right back in September. In this track, we see the speaker being deeply hurt when her lover tries to exert his controlling influence over her and wants her to be what he wants her to be, keeping her from becoming what she herself truly wants to become.
On one hand, the song is very emotional and sad, and on the other, it is empowering and motivating since the character that is being depicted here shows the pain and sorrow of a broken heart, yet the song uses the grief of the situation as the means to the end and brings forth that one should fall in love with oneself when the relationship is over, and the fact has already been established through actions that the boyfriend or girlfriend is treating their partner with a lack of respect and kindness is very evident. A few words that show how well the poet has worded these lines are: “Though I’ve tried to hold on, and if you knew me at all, you wouldn’t try to keep me small.”
Fans Rally Around Olivia Dean After Tearful Performance
“Who would do something like this to a friend, let alone a loved one?”
Fans took to TikTok to show their support, asking, among others, “Who is responsible for hurting her?” One questioned. Another commenter shouted, “OK, what has just happened? Who hurt my child?”
Someone else left a message, “NAAAH, the way she sings it seems like she’s addressing a person.” Then, yet another poster: “I’m fine, as a matter_of_fact, I have also cried during her songs.” And the fifth poster: “The lyrics are as true as f**k, and that hurt is DEEP!”
This is the case because the singer has opted for a refusal to be the main act at Glastonbury next year where Harry Styles is supposed to be on the list. They were linked in a romantic way two years ago although they said they did not date.

Olivia Denies Glastonbury 2027 Headliner Offer
She’s going to do music production and is planning to be a performer at the festival in 2028, she has told us. Someone told The Sun, “They were able to talk with Olivia’s team about Glastonbury Headline spot at 2027 and she was really happy to be considered.” Nevertheless, after thinking it over, she expressed her desire to spend the coming year on new music development, possibly to come back when the third album is done.
“On the other hand, she would be quite proud to have her name beside Harry’s if that’s the case next year, yet she simply wants to leave that chapter behind. “Even though she is proud of him having his own moment and she is glad of his achievements, she does not have the impression that next year will be hers.”
