Patrick Muldoon Tweeted About Working With Chris Hemsworth few Days Before His Sudden Death

Patrick Muldoon had a lot of hopes for his next career move, but he suddenly passed away at 57.

Not only that, just days before Patrick Muldoon was taken from this world, the Days of Our Lives alum expressed his great excitement for Kockroach, a crime film he was exec producing with Chris Hemsworth, Taron Egerton, Zazie Beetz, and Alec Baldwin, cast members, and Matt Ross as director.

The movie, which is an adaptation of William Lashner’s book, is telling an unbelievably story about a cockroach that grows to be a ruthless crime lord in New York City. While filming is currently underway in Australia, Muldoon was seen full of vitality and proud of the fact that he was involved.

On top of this new project, he was also getting ready for the digital launch of his movie Dirty Hands on April 24, in which he was a co-star with Denise Richards, so that was yet one more mark on his calendar that he was very much looking forward to.

Patrick Muldoon died on April 17, 2024, at the age of 57, due to a sudden heart attack at his home in Beverly Hills.

His sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, revealed the heartbreaking details to the press, stating that he was in the shower when he collapsed; his girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart, found him lying unconscious on the bathroom floor.

In the aftermath of the Melrose Place actor’s sudden passing, his family and former coworkers have expressed their emotions through public tributes. Shana shared a heartfelt video of the siblings singing together on her Instagram Stories, adding a note about loving her brother forever.

Longtime friend and Days of Our Lives co-star Alison Sweeney also wrote about Muldoon’s impact, recognizing the actor who portrayed Austin Reed alongside her as Samantha Brady as not only a very talented actor but also a very kind and giving person. Her tribute, together with many others from the soap opera and film world, spoke about the great emptiness left by this man with whom they had a close working relationship over his many years of career.

Alison Sweeney fondly remembered Muldoon as “a rare kind of person, brilliantly talented, endlessly kind, and generous in spirit.”

In a post on X on April 20, she revealed how working with him on Days of Our Lives early in her career was very special for her. She mentioned that he was the one who first made her comfortable and his charm and humor were there on set every day. She called him a very talented actor and said that his absence will be felt deeply.
