Ben Affleck leaves Jennifer Lopez his entire portion of $60 million Beverly Hills mansion
Ben Affleck has reportedly handed over his whole portion of the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion to ex-wife Jennifer Lopez without any payment. The duo updated their property settlement contract to indicate “transfer of property among spouses, ” as per TMZ. Those acquainted with the matter also revealed that Affleck indeed donated his part to Lopez for free.
In June 2023 Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez decided to make the 38, 000-square-foot mansion with a dozen bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and a basketball court their marital home at the time. The house was meant to be their love nest and they reportedly paid the property totally in cash. Agents for both celebrities have not responded to the news about the property transfer.

Affleck and Lopez Disposed of Their Marital Home as Divorce Was in the Air; Affleck Got Himself a New Mansion Next to the Children
About a month after their purchase, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale, which sparked rumors of a divorce between them. The insiders said that Lopez thought the mansion was “too large” for her while Affleck was said to have “never liked the house.” Later in August, Lopez filed for divorce.
Diversifying his real estate portfolio, Affleck ventured into a $20.5 million Pacific Palisades mansion last summer. The new home was intended to bring the actor closer to his children, Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
As for the Hollywood duo, the divorce was wrapped up in January 2025, which made the destiny of their Beverly Hills mansion ambiguous as it was still up for sale.
Affleck and Lopez’s “business decision” leads to mansion delisting for the time being
After her separation from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez decided to buy an $18 million house in Los Angeles for herself and her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with whom she shares parenthood with her former husband Marc Anthony. On the other hand, the $60 million Beverly Hills estate that she and Affleck used to share was mysteriously withdrawn from the market last summer.
According to insiders who spoke to People, the reason for pulling the property off the market was the couple’s joint business decision since even after the price reduction the response was not adequate. It didn’t make sense for the couple to take a drastic hit on the property. “They were advised to remove it from the market, ” said a source, as they await improved market conditions.

Lopez fully acquires control over $60M mansion as she announces “happy era”
Real estate agents believe that pulling the Beverly Hills house from the market was just a clever step to use a time when conditions are more “seller-friendly, ” as the biggest challenge right now is the market for ultra-luxury homes. Still, since Ben Affleck handed over the whole ownership of the mansion to Jennifer Lopez, it is up to her alone what will happen to it now.
That move aligns with Lopez coming out of their relationship stronger and happier two years after their breakup. In fact, during a recent Good Morning America interview, she revealed that she is “free” and has entered her “happy era.” “Actually, I think this is the first time I actually feel free, independent, and it feels great, ” she said, pointing to a bright and new chapter in her life filled with confidence and positivity.
