Kate Ceberano Speaks Out After Discovering AI-Fake Image
Kate Ceberano used Instagram to vent about having discovered a synthetic photo of her in sorrow over the friend’s death, made by an AI. The image was fabricated news, displaying her in tears while hugging a mobile showing a snapshot of Kate with late actor Sam Neill.
“What the hell…???? I met with a virtual me via AI for the first time,” stated Kate on the social networking app. “I was practically vomiting. And to pity, there were the nice folks who thought it was genuine and left heartfelt comments here. “You guys are the victims, and I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg. I couldn’t say a word.”
Her post’s comment stream was all positive with support for Kate, agreeing on her horrified feelings regarding the photo. “This is only absurd, Katie—my first reaction was to feel uneasy. Thanks for raising the alarm. “Much love x,” commented Australian chef Poh Ling Yeow, a public figure, on the post.

Kate Condemns AI Fake After Sam Neill’s Death
“WTAF! We’ve honestly jumped onto the merry-go-round of AI freaks, which is never going to come to an end but just keeps getting faster and faster,” the journalist and media commentator, Melissa Hoyer, added to her statement. Ceberano did not indicate how she had discovered the image, but there was a strong resemblance, as if the artist was using this situation to capitalize on the outpouring of tributes that were following the recent death of New Zealand star Sam Neill. Neill died on July 13 at 78 from pneumonia while receiving care at Sydney’s St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. A statement about his beloved departed father was shared on Instagram by Neil’s family. “We are very sad to announce that Sam Neill’s family are sharing this bad news of his death after he passed away on Monday, 13th July, in Sydney, Australia,” it read.
Kate Ceberano Shocked by AI Image Linked to Sam Neill
Sam was surrounded by his loved ones when he passed away peacefully, as if he lived a good life. Though they couldn’t expect the sudden loss, Sam’s death came as a blessing due to the fact that he had remained cancer-free. Their family expresses their highest appreciation to the medical staff at St Vincent’s Private Hospital for their amazing care.
Details about his death will be announced later, but at the moment and on behalf of their family, they would like the community at large to keep their loss private as they slowly learn to let go of such a great man that they had. Australia’s former partner Ms. Tingle and ex-singer of New Zealander Mr. Rime Te Wiata both stated that pneumonia was the reason for Neil’s death. Ceberano posted her tribute message on Instagram right after Neil’s death and also a photo on the phone screen that appears in the AI picture generated.
“We were together at Molokai singing together while you strummed your ukulele,” she told Neill on her Instagram post. “I will cherish that experience of sharing you for so long with the gentle heart and bright smile of yours that made me feel so special and loved. You are always one of those special beings whom I am so happy to have known.”
“Aloha ‘oe till we meet again, dear Sam.”
