According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elfman, 70, who married Bridget in 2003, is accused of sexually assaulting a Maryland woman from 1997 to 2002.

Elfman and his firm, Musica de la Muerta, are being sued for sexual assault, gender violence, intentional infliction of mental distress, sexual harassment, and negligence by an unnamed lady who is only referred to as Jane Doe XX.

A spokeswoman for Elfman issued a statement in which they claimed, “The allegations of misconduct made against Mr. Elfman are completely without merit and absurd.” The members of his legal team are investigating all of their potential defense strategies, and he intends to forcefully fight these accusations in court.

What Does the Lawsuit Say?

According to the allegations made in the case, the plaintiff first came into contact with Elfman in April 1997 at a party. At the time, the plaintiff was a 21-year-old student at the New York Film Academy, and Elfman was 47.

She also said that he would invite her to different events within the business, inquire about her thoughts on movies and music, and treat her as if she were a consultant and a protegé.

The complaint also alleges that whenever she was alone with Elfman, he ‘ removed all of his clothes until he was entirely naked, and strolled about nude in front of Plaintiff, displaying his genitals.’

According to the allegations included in the complaint, the defendant Elfman told the plaintiff that this was the only way he could work, be creative, and be successful.
