Adele Turns Up at British GP in Rare Outing, Rocks Lando Norris Tee

Adele Makes Rare Public Appearance at British Grand Prix

Normally quite elusive, Adele rose to prominence on Sunday afternoon following a trip to the British Grand Prix with a number of other celebrities.
The singer was present to see Charles Leclerc record the first ever win of his career. It was the technical failure of his teammate in Williams, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who scored second place at Britain. Thus, Kimi has finished second in this race, although it seems that he was close to taking the podium, but the last yellow flag ruined his plans.

The FIA posted a statement regarding the confusion, explaining that the ‘message about the safety car in this lap was displayed incorrectly due to a software error. ‘
Adele, 38, was in a fan-made t-shirt celebrating the 2025 World Champion Lando Norris and his team, McLaren, as she arrived at the event, while also wearing a beautiful necklace that featured the word ‘Mummy.’

Adele Bonds With Son Over Shared Love of Formula 1

The star was spotted in October last year, at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, having fun with Mercedes’ two drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. This time around, she spoke very openly about her son, Angelo, 13, as the pair share a common obsession with the sport.
Other celebrities at the event on Friday were Queen rock legend Brian May, Damson Idris, Sam Claflin, Rebekah and Jamie Vardy, and Hannah Waddingham. The star was thrilled to announce that she and her 13-year-old son, Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, have formed a very special ‘bond’ over the sport after he took up karting, which is the junior series for F1 drivers.

She Opens Up About Her Struggles With Fame

The Hello singer spoke out about her job being “ridiculous” as she opened up about her “struggles with fame.” “Oh, my god. I think it is ridiculous that my job is being a singer. No, never believed [it would happen],” she said.
“I wanted to be an A&R. I never thought that I was the talent. ‘I knew I was really good with music, which is why I thought I’d be so good at discovering new talent.'” It is incredibly unlikely that a girl from Tottenham is going to go on to have any kind of career in England, let alone a sort of universal one and stuff like that. So, it was never an option. ‘It’s very well known that I struggle with the fame side of it. If I remind myself that it’s a joke that my job is being a singer, I just always try to lean into that.”
