Mickey‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Rourke was officially evicted from his Los Angeles home after making some attempts to avoid being ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌evicted.

Mickey‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Rourke Officially Evicted from Los Angeles Home

Mickey Rourke officially lost the rights to his leased Los Angeles residence, as per the court papers gotten by Page Six.
The old house on Drexel Ave. that Rourke lived in is now back in the hands of the landlord, Eric T. Goldie, after a judgment was registered on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court by default. That means, most probably, Rourke did not respond to the complaint or did not show up in court by the deadline.
However, the court order was only for possession of the property, not for damages. The news has been reported to be out by People on Tuesday.
Rourke’s spokesperson did not immediately reply to the request for comment.
In the court documents last December, it was mentioned that Rourke had to either leave the house within three days or pay $59,100, which comprised the accumulated rent amount that he ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌owed.

He‍‌‍‍‌‍‌ Rejects Saying He Was Part of a GoFundMe

Mickey Rourke, 73, was photographed relocating from his Los Angeles residence last January, with a U-Haul van parked near the house. At that time, he was allegedly lodging at a posh West Hollywood hotel.
A GoFundMe campaign was started in Rourke’s name by a woman called Liya-Joelle Jones, with a target amount of $100,000 intended to save him from being evicted. However, the actor vehemently refused to have any dealings with the fundraiser.
Back in January, Rourke shared an Instagram video where he looked seemingly “baffled” and “annoyed”. He argued that he didn’t request “f–king charity” and added, “That’s not me, OK?”
Holding a tiny pooch in her arms, Rourke said that he “wouldn’t know what a GoFund[Me] foundation is in a million years” and confessed he has “too much pride” to ask for ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌aid.

Mickey‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Rourke on Finances and Career: “I’d Rather Stick a Gun Up My Ass”

At 73 years old, Mickey Rourke has expressed that he has not only told the truth about this GoFundMe fundraiser which was launched in his name but also said, “If I needed money I wouldn’t ask for any charity. I’d rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger… My life is very simple, I wouldn’t go to outside sources like that.”
Kimberly Hines, Rourke’s manager, told TMZ in January that he has been waiting for roles that pay like top stars and has rejected many job offers as he doesn’t want to work for less than $200,000 per day.
According to an insider, the Daily Mail reported in January that Rourke is what they called “rich poor,” meaning he has been living a “rock star” lifestyle and has spent a lot on drugs and alcohol over the years.
“He has ways of making a lot of money through films and reality shows, but he spends it so quickly that by the time he starts making money again, he’s back to square one,” the source told ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌us.
