Crispin‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Glover Has New Lawsuit From Alleged Ex Who Says He Used Her For Both “Sex and Free Labor”

Crispin Glover has been hit with a new suit from an alleged former girlfriend who says that the Back to the Future star used her for “sex and free labor” after he supposedly enticed her to come with him to Los Angeles under the pretext of a job offer.
In a civil suit made public on Wednesday and acquired by Variety, Glover is charged with “battery, fraud, wrongful eviction, malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and Bane Act violations.”
The document refers to a “disgraceful series of incidents” during which the plaintiff who remains unnamed—Jane Doe—was “basically a prisoner,” and made to have sex with the defendant and to work “under false ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌pretenses.”

Details‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ of the Lawsuit Against Crispin Glover

The plaintiff in the case, Jane Doe, who is said to be a 30-year-old former model from the U.K., alleges in the complaint that Crispin Glover “lured and manipulated” her into moving to Los Angeles by promising her a job as his assistant in the entertainment industry.
The two were reported to have first interacted after Jane Doe sent Crispin Glover a direct message on Instagram in 2015. Upon receiving a message, Glover invited her to dinner, and after that, they would exchange messages occasionally. About 4 years later, their Facebook profiles became more visible to each other, and only then did Glover continue with his ‘strange advances’ towards her. Glover constantly insisted that Doe should move to L.A. The lawsuit states that the pair met in person in Dresden, Germany, in 2023, where Glover allegedly showed her items of Nazi memorabilia from his personal collection.
As per the complaint, during a sequence of phone conversations and text messages in 2023, Glover “indoctrinated Jane Doe with the idea of a new life” and hinted at the opportunity of an entertainment career that would be possible via a professional relationship with him. Consequently, Jane Doe moved to Los Angeles at the beginning of 2024, as per the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌lawsuit.

According to the complaint, after Jane Doe moved to Los Angeles the situation allegedly “really took a bad turn” and Glover tried to control her movements and constantly check where she was.
The lawsuit states he expected her to be his girlfriend, living with him, and providing both working and sexual services.
It is claimed in the complaint that when Doe rejected what it refers to as “increasingly wild and inappropriate demands,” she was illegally removed from the property. The lawsuit also alleges that Glover made up legal claims against her, one of which she describes as a “completely bogus” petition for a restraining order.
The matter is the subject of a civil complaint and therefore the claims have not been proved in a court of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌law.

Crispin‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Glover Denies Allegations in Statement to Variety

Crispin Glover has rebutted claims that are part of a new lawsuit.
In a statement to Variety, an attorney for Glover said, “Mr. Glover strongly and categorically denies these unsubstantiated accusations.” The lawyer claimed that on March 2, 2024, Glover “was unfortunately, assaulted face to face by a stranger, Jane Doe, at his home in Los Angeles.” Glover called the police and the LAPD officers who responded to the incident, conducted an investigation and arrested Doe.
The attorney further said that these facts “are confirmed in the police reports and also through the restraining order that Mr. Glover had obtained against Jane Doe at that time.” He also said that Glover intends to “fight this case to the hilt and take advantage of all the legally permissible means to protect his rights.” He even mentioned how the complaint will turn out to be “a meritless fabrication” to which Glover has shown confidence.
Glover rose to fame with the role of George McFly in the 1985 film Back to the Future. Among his other movie appearances are Charlie’s Angels, Alice in Wonderland, Willard, and River’s ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Edge.
