‘Hurt’‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Kathy Griffin responds unkindly to the revelation by nemesis Andy Cohen of their secret email exchange at ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌BravoCon

Kathy‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Griffin caught a bad mood when Andy Cohen revealed their private email at BravoCon 2025

It was a moment that Andy Cohen only needed the slightest encouragement from the audience at BravoCon in Las Vegas to nudged him to tell the whole world of their recent correspondence by saying “emailed the other day,” and even guessed about a possible truce with “Never say never.” The 65‑year‑old comedian expressed that she was shocked not only to get the message but also to hear Cohen mention their chat in secret to ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌everyone.

Kathy‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Griffin ‘s reaction when Andy Cohen revealed their private email conversation to the BravoCon audience

Kathy Griffin reacted to the news that Andy Cohen, her ex-boss at Bravo, told the BravoCon crowd he had “emailed the other day” with them and she was not happy. On Saturday during a stand-up-Tour in Los Angeles, the 65-year-old comedian shared her recollection that Cohen had been “a difficult boss” during her time at Bravo and said she “really tried to do a good job” there, adding that she was instrumental in the evolution of the cable channel through her reality series My Life on the D-list.
Griffin went on to say that she got an unexpected email “out of the blue last week” – the first one from Cohen in eight years – and she was shocked that he brought up the correspondence in a public ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌manner.

Griffin:‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Cohen “vetted” his 10 p.m. email — and gave “sorry, not sorry”

Kathy Griffin confided to an audience in Los Angeles that Andy Cohen’s surprise email came around 10 p.m. and “was kind of nice,” however, she thinks he “vetted it with lawyers,” knowing that she might read it out loud. On the phone with the Daily Mail, Griffin, 65, recounted that Cohen, 57, interacted in a friendly manner in the email but “did not really apologize,” allegedly implying something like “sorry, not sorry.” She went on to say that she “got back to him very quickly” and was feeling a lot of emotions, but she didn’t reveal what she ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌wrote.

Griffin‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Calls Cohen Out for Divulging Their Private Email

Kathy Griffin was not amused when Andy Cohen decided to make public their private email correspondence at BravoCon 2025. Cohen informed the audience that he and Griffin had “emailed the other day,” indicating that a truce might have been made. Griffin, 65, was not only shocked by the email but also by the fact that he mentioned it publicly.”
Griffin, who labeled Cohen as a “difficult boss” at Bravo, after receiving his “sort of nice” but still unapologetic email following eight years, only responded once. She thought that he “vetted it with lawyers,” anticipating that she might talk about it. Although she would have preferred not to have more “beefs” and still misses Bravo, she feels that he “did her dirty” by taking her job and firing her, especially after her career was negatively affected by the Trump photo ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌controversy.

Griffin‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Says Cohen’s Public Reveal “Did Hurt” — But She Didn’t Completely Close the Door on Reconciliation

While Kathy Griffin claimed that she “doesn’t want to have a beef” with Andy Cohen, she informed a Los Angeles crowd that the event of their private email by Andy Cohen was something that “did hurt.” She also stated that the whole experience working with him was not her favorite. However, she really didn’t completely close the door on making up again, by saying, “I don’t know what is going to happen.”
On the spot of a direct question about making up with Cohen, Griffin answered, “Let’s go with ‘maybe,'” thus keeping the possibility of reconciliation open while recognizing the hurt caused by the public disclosure of their private ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌matter.
