Don Lemon Marries His Long-Time Friend in a NYC Wedding Ceremony! 

Don Lemon, a former CNN anchor, wed real estate agent Tim Malone in New York City, according to a Lemon spokesman who spoke with ABC News. “Thrilled” is how the pair described their feelings after their wedding on Saturday, according to the spokesman. On their wedding day, Lemon, who is 58 years old, and Malone, who is 40 years old, posted a picture of themselves smiling and wearing wedding tuxedos while standing on the steps of a church while holding three dogs.

Several of Lemon’s former coworkers at CNN, such as Dana Bash, Erin Burnett, and Kate Bolduan, were also present for the wedding ceremony. There was a ceremony that featured a unity candle burning with the mothers of the grooms, readings, and remarks by Malone’s nieces and sisters, and an Irish blessing in recognition of Malone’s family’s background. The ceremony was presided over by Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who is the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

Don Lemon is a television journalist from the United States who was born on March 1, 1966. He is most known for his tenure as a host on CNN, which lasted from 2014 to 2023. During his early days as a journalist, he helped anchor weekend news shows on small television stations in Alabama and Pennsylvania. These stations were located in both states. Lemon used to work for NBC as a news reporter, contributing to the network’s many programs, including Today and NBC Nightly News. In addition, Lemon was honored with an Edward R. Murrow Award in the year 2002 for his coverage of the arrest of the snipers who were operating in Washington, District of Columbia. In addition to that, he was honored with three regional Emmy Awards for his special report on real estate in Chicago as well as a business feature piece on Craigslist.

After beginning his career at CNN in 2006 as a journalist, he went on to become a prominent figure in the media as the host of Don Lemon Tonight, which he hosted from 2014 to 2022. Most recently, he was a co-host on CNN This Morning, with Kaitlan Collins and Poppy Harlow. That was his most recent responsibility. For multiple on-air scandals and stories of alleged instances of sexism that spanned decades, he was terminated from his position at CNN in April of 2023.

In 2006, Malone joined the NBCUniversal page program, which is also listed on his LinkedIn profile. Up until 2013, he was employed by NBC, where he worked in sales for networks such as USA and SYFY, as well as in the departments of sports and the Olympics.

After that, he became a member of the Billboard team, where he served as the director of brand partnerships from 2013 to 2016. Following that, in 2017, he was promoted to the position of executive director at the entertainment firm Jukin Media.

It was in the real estate industry that he launched his business. In 2018, he became a member of the Corcoran Real Estate Group and began working as a real estate agent. Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the United States ambassador to the United Nations, presided over the ceremony that took place at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in the middle of Manhattan. Some 140 people were present for the event.

“She’s a friend, and it means that much to us,” Lemon says of having Thomas-Greenfield for their wedding ceremony. “It’s a great honor for us.” During the ceremony, the grooms combined marital customs that were influenced by each of their families into their one-of-a-kind wedding. They wore bespoke suits made by Suit Supply and exchanged rings that were fashioned by Mark Lash.

Tim comes from a large Irish background, so we included a significant Irish blessing in his ceremony, according to Lemon. Moreover, he claims that Malone’s two sisters were the ones who led the blessing.

Don Lemon was unexpectedly terminated from his position at CNN, where he had worked for seventeen years. Malone remained at his side during this whole period. According to People, the pair became closer after Lemon was terminated from his position. Barkley, Boomer, and Gus are the names of the couple’s three poodles, whom they have in addition to themselves.

Tim Malone is a significant supporter of the Hamptons community in addition to being a supporter of Jamie Lemon. In April 2020, he disclosed to Elliman Insider this information on his support for the community of the Hamptons. 

“My boyfriend Don Lemon and I have two rescue dogs from the Southampton Animal Shelter,” he said. “We obtained them from the shelter.” He continued by saying, “When the virus struck, and no one was adopting dogs, we decided to foster a third senior dog at that time.” From this point on, Gus Gus is considered to be a member of the family.

In addition to that, he started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to raise $45,000. Specifically, it was for a charitable group known as Heart of the Hamptons, which offers meals to people in the community who are struggling financially.

Double-breasted suits that were made to order by the pair by their stylist at Suit Supply were worn by the couple. Even though the pair matched the fabric for their wedding, each of them wore different colors. Lemon wore green velvet, while Malone wore blue velvet.  Following that, the pair will go on a journey to the southern coast of Italy in June, which they have said would be considered their honeymoon.
